Currently, I am working as a Senior Scientist at CSIR-Institute of Himalayan Bioresource Technology, Palampur, India.

 

I am broadly interested in exploring the intricacies of plant-environment interactions at various scales (genes to plant) #PlantAdaptOme. My specific research interests are understanding of mechanisms underlying plant responses to rising atmospheric CO2, temperature, drought, and nutrient stress. The ultimate goal of my research group is to develop climate-resilient plants by using ecological, chemical, genetic engineering, and/or genome editing methods.
